He is the co-director of the Center for Excellence for Earth and Space Science at Caltech and KACST (CE2S2). Dr. Haithem’s focus on Spacecraft Dynamics; Formation flying, control and optimization. He began his academic career by earning a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from King Saud University. He then received a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering followed by a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering, both from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Consequently, he received his Ph.D in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
