Saad Alhuwaimel

Dr. Alhuwaimel is an assistant research professor at King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST). His research interest is several areas including: Antenna and microwave, Radio Frequency components, Internet of Things and LoRa Technology. Dr. Alhuwaimel has earned his PhD in electrical engineering from University College London in 2018 in the area of antenna design. He completed his master degree at University of Cape Town, South Africa, in 2012 among the first group who finish the new master program in radar and electronic defense. He completed his bachelor degree in electrical engineering at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals in 2008. He earned an associated diploma in instrumentation and control engineering technology from Jubail industrial College in 2000. Dr. Alhuwaimel work history started back in 2000 with Schlumberger. He worked in the area of seismic data acquisition. In 2002, he moved to work in Ibn Zahr, one of SABIC companies, petrochemical company in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. In early 2008, he joined KACST after completing his bachelor degree.
