Sultan Alzahrani

Center of Excellence for Earth and Space Science

Dr. Alzahrani is Assistant Research Professor at King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST). He has research interests in a variety of areas, including Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Mining and Visualization, and Natural Language Processing. Dr. Alzahrani served as a Research and Teaching Associate working on funded projects by the U.S. DoD and Naval Research Laboratory. In 2018, He received the Graduate College Fellowship as a recognition of excellent research progress and substantial academic work, and he is recipient of a patent funded by the Saudi Arabian Cultural Mission. He co-advised M.Sc. graduate students and taught two courses” . Dr. Alzahrani holds a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from Arizona State University (ASU), 2018, and a Master's degree from the University of Southern California (USC), 2011.
